To nominate a person who had an extraordinary and distinguished achievement in 2009, please complete the nomination form available here. Submissions will be considered based on information provided, so please include as much detail as possible.

Background

The Mining Person of the Year Award is an initiative of the Mining Association of British Columbia (MABC) to publicly recognize an outstanding individual who has shown leadership in advancing and promoting the mining industry from, or within, British Columbia.

The annual Award is presented during Mining Week in May of every year. This year BC Mining Week 2010 is May 9th – 15th , 2010.

The MABC’s Executive Committee acts as the Nominating and Award Adjudication Committee.
