Where can we go in BC to pan for gold? 

ANSWER:

There are several recreational panning reserves in BC that are open to the public for recreational gold panning. Recreational panning is restricted to hand pans, hand shovels, and metal detectors.  The use of sluice or shaker boxes, suction dredges, and other mechanical devices are not permitted.
